Senior Associate, Forensic Accounting Brisbane
Forensic accounting is one of the fastest growing, most interesting areas in accounting, and most accountants never get exposed to it. No 2 days are the same – you could be sitting in on court proceedings one week and working on a shareholder dispute the next, dealing with a genuinely wide range of clients and matters.
What you’ll be doing
- Working on forensic accounting and dispute advisory engagements
- Preparing business valuations, loss and damage calculations and financial analysis
- Reviewing financial performance and interpreting complex accounting information
- Drafting reports and supporting expert evidence
- Liaising with solicitors, clients and senior stakeholders
- Contributing to business development and practice growth
What you’ll need
- CA, CPA or CFA qualified
- Professional accounting experience gained in public practice, in audit, business services/tax, insolvency, transaction services or forensic accounting
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
For candidates already in forensic accounting, experience preparing valuation reports and/or commercial loss and damage reports would be highly regarded.
