Sydney | Specialist Forensic & Insurance Advisory Firm

$110,000 – $150,000 + super + generous, transparent bonus

We have a fantastic opportunity to join a highly regarded specialist advisory firm in Sydney. We are looking for a qualifed CA, CPA or IPA.

This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Forensic Accountant or an Auditor/Insolvency accountant looking to move into forensic accounting.

Every day is different and you will work on high-value financial investigations and complex matters arising from insurance claims, commercial disputes and financial losses. You will investigate financial records, understand how businesses operate and quantify economic losses resulting from events such as business interruption, cyber incidents, product recalls and other insured losses.

The Role

Working alongside experienced forensic specialists, you will:

• Analyse financial records to investigate and quantify economic losses

• Work on claims including business interruption, stock loss, fidelity, cyber, product recall and tax audit matters

• Prepare clear and well-structured financial reports

• Liaise with clients, brokers and other stakeholders during the claims process

• Assist in preparing expert reports used in legal proceedings

• Support relationship management and business development activities

• Work as part of a collaborative specialist forensic accounting team

About You

• CA, CPA or IPA qualified

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Advanced Excel capability

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
