Are you an auditor, insolvency specialist, or business services accountant ready for something different? Forensic accounting is one of the most dynamic, fastest-growing areas of professional services – and you don’t need prior forensic experience to make the move. If you love problem-solving, digging into the detail, and making sense of complex financial information, this could be your next big career step.
What you’ll be doing:
· Working on a wide range of forensic assignments – from financial investigations and disputes to litigation support.
· Uncovering the story behind the numbers by analysing financial data, business records, and accounting systems.
· Preparing clear, high-quality reports that are relied on in legal, corporate, and regulatory settings.
· Collaborating with directors, managers, and clients, building strong relationships and providing insights that really matter.
· Developing your skills in investigations, problem solving, and critical analysis – while still drawing on your existing accounting background.
What we’re looking for:
· Ideally a qualified or part-qualified CA / CPA with experience in Audit, Business services, Insolvency, or Corporate Finance from a consulting firm.
· Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail – you enjoy digging deep into data to find the patterns.
· Excellent written and verbal communication – you can translate complex findings into clear, impactful insights.
· A proactive and professional approach, with the ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
· Experience preparing client-ready reports – whether for audits, investigations, or corporate stakeholders.
Why move into forensic accounting?
This is a chance to take your accounting skills in an exciting new direction. Forensic accounting combines financial expertise with investigative work – no two projects are the same. You’ll be exposed to high-profile matters, build new technical expertise, and open up career pathways that go far beyond traditional accounting.
If you’re ready to step outside the ordinary and apply your skills in a field that’s equal parts challenging and rewarding, we’d love to hear from you.
