Manager – Restructuring and Insolvency – Melbourne

We’re looking for an experienced Manager to join this leading Restructuring Advisory team in Melbourne. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with a broad range of corporate clients, helping them navigate complex financial challenges and unlock opportunities for renewal and growth.

This is a chance to work with a dynamic and driven team and develop your career in a supportive, modern environment. Working on both formal and informal matters in the corporate sector, you will be exposed to some excellent projects assisting clients through difficult and challenging times. You will be part of a large supportive team where your skills will be honed in a progressive and innovative organisation.

The role:

• Managing your own portfolio of corporate formal and informal restructuring matters
• Preparing detailed creditor and statutory reports, and business reviews
• Leading forensic investigation assignments—including tracing funds, assessing transactions, and reviewing solvency
• Managing and assisting with trade-ons including forecasting and managing key elements such as employees entitlements and supplier matters
• Supervising team members
• Business development growth activities

What we are looking for in you:

• A degree in Business, Commerce, Accounting, or a related discipline
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in corporate restructuring within Australia and an understanding of the relevant legislation 
• CA or CPA qualification or part qualified
• ARITA Advanced Certification would be great but not essential
• Good communications, an analytical approach and a problem-solving character is needed for this role
