The opportunity

Troy Recruitment is partnering with a friendly, high-calibre advisory firm to appoint a Forensic Accountant focused on disputes, business valuations and litigation matters. Perfect for a newly or nearly qualified CA/CPA with strong audit plus financial modelling or valuations experience who wants to build a career in forensics alongside leading experts.

What you’ll do

• Analyse and investigate financial data to support litigation and dispute matters
• Build simple and advanced financial models to quantify claims
• Assist with business valuations and economic loss assessments
• Identify accounting issues related to loss of profit, loss of value or damage
• Review financial statements and prepare clear, defensible expert reports

You’ll bring

• Ambition to develop a career in Forensic Accounting
• 2+ years’ solid Audit experience (Big 4 or mid-tier) with modelling and/or valuations exposure
• CA/CPA (or near completion)
• Exceptional written and verbal communication
• An inquisitive, analytical mindset and attention to detail

Eligibility: Full, permanent Australian working rights. Candidates must be based in Australia.
