Insolvency Accountant – Senior to Manager level – Brisbane

This leading Insolvency Advisory firm is seeking experienced Insolvency Accountants to join their team in Brisbane at Senior, Supervisor or Manager level.

Working on all aspects of corporate insolvency including VAs, CLs, Receiverships and SBRs as well as informal advisory, this is an exceptional chance to expand your insolvency career and take ownership of interesting and complex matters. You will be responsible for managing a team of emerging insolvency accountants at all levels and at the same time, have the opportunity to develop your own path to increased leadership.

In this exciting role you will:

• Manage your own portfolio of corporate insolvency cases
• Supervise and manage a team of juniors
• Oversee and carry out detailed financial analysis and investigations
• Conduct meetings, interviews and advise clients and stakeholders throughout the process
• Mentor staff and assist with their development
• Support Senior Management
• Build your business networking and client skills
• Develop your professional skills and qualifications

To be considered for this role we are seeking motivated, experience Insolvency accountants with the following skills:

• Minimum 2-4 years’ experience gained in corporate insolvency within the Australian sector
• Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of Australian Insolvency legislation
• Qualified CA or CPA (or near qualification); ARITA qualification
• Excellent Excel ability; financial modelling skills
• Experience managing and supervising a team
• Confident communicator
• Strong character and empathy dealing with stakeholders internally and externally
• Desire to network and keen interest to develop business
• Keen to develop
