Are you a qualified CA or CPA with experience in Financial Fraud Investigations?

We have an exceptional opportunity to join this leading regulatory body (non government) conducting investigations and reviewing accounts to detect and prevent fraud.

If you are a forensic accountant, or have experience of fraud investigations (perhaps from an internal audit or insolvency background), this could be the new challenge you are looking for. Working in a supportive and collaborative team, this is a broad reaching role where you would lead investigations, provide regulatory and compliance advice and deliver training programs to members.

In this fascinating role you will:

• Investigate complaints and tip-offs related to fraud claims.
• Gather evidence through interviews and detailed analysis of financial records.
• Provide expert witness reports for prosecution and assist clients with their claims.
• Advise firms on compliance, enhancing their internal controls and risk management.
• Collaborate with senior management to improve risk management procedures.

To be considered for the role

• Must be CA/CPA qualified accountant
• Experience in forensic or financial fraud investigations
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in accounting
• Ideally a background in Forensic Accounting or Fraud Investigations
• Willing to travel to clients primarily in Greater Sydney and occasionally to regional NSW.
• Ability to work autonomously and independently manage caseloads.

The role is based in Sydney and is paying up to $150,000 package including super.
